DineLA: The Bazaar by Jose Andres

Finally another food post! Desmond and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary at The Bazaar and ordered from the DineLA menu. It's $50 per person, and we each chose 4 dishes to share, plus 2 desserts, so it was very worth it! We also ordered some drinks!

Passion Fruit Cocktail : This was SO GOOD!! Tasted like Passion fruit juice

Philly Cheesesteak: Air Bread, Cheddar, Wagyu Beef

Cotton Candy Foie Gras: This was on the regular menu; A cube of foie gras wrapped in Cotton Candy ( Did California lift the foie gras ban?  I wonder why this was allowed back)

Croquetas de Pollo: Chicken and Bechamel - creamy and a good crunch on the outside!

Jicama Wrapped Guacamole: Micro Cilantro, Corn Chips: This was literally a bite of guacamole but something about it made it so tasty! And there were tiny chips inside too

Seared Scallops: Romesco Sauce- This was NOT GOOD.. I don't know why I ordered again but if I ever go back to Bazaar, I will not order this. It was still a bit raw in the center (supposed to be) but it left a bad after taste

Braised Wagyu Beef Cheeks in Mojo Rojo Sauce: This was one of my favorite dishes. So tender! 

Seared Mary's Farm Chicken: Honey Dates, Mustard Caviar, Mustard Greens: This was really good! Tasted like Roast Duck

Wine Flight Desmond Ordered  - Champagne, Reisling, Red Wine (name?)
